Ross and Andrea engaged!
These guys have it. That thing, that you can't really put words on, but it's there. The chemistry is unbelievable. It's almost like you aren't even there... and I mean that in a very, very good way. Andrea and Ross came a long way to find each other. They knew immediately that they had found "the one" after being set up by mutual friends. It was so great to photograph their engagement session and be a part of what they have. It's couples like this that make me love my job!
We started our session early in the morning to get the best light, and met up at McKennen Park. The sunken garden is special to Andrea because it's where her dad proposed to her mom just two weeks after they met! And just like Ross and Andrea... When you know, YOU KNOW! They were married a few short months later and are still adorable and sweet together. Mom and Dad came along to help with the car you'll see later and it was a lot of fun getting to know them too. I know exactly where Andrea gets her sweet personality from. :)
After the gardens, we headed downtown. Andrea's dad has a beautiful Ford that we used for more photos near Luciano's. (Btw, if you haven't tried it, it's excellent!) They will be having their rehearsal dinner there and wanted to use some of the features of the area. Andrea loves sweets, so we went to be Best Cupcakery IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, Oh My Cupcakes! for some more fun. Ross had found a door he liked and asked if we could try it. Of course we could, and it was very conveniently located next to the the best cupcakery IN THE WORLD. (feel free to send me Cupcakes anytime)
Then we hit the Philips Avenue Diner for some faux retro stuff, and then up the hill to the Cathedral. Ross and Andrea are very fortunate to be having their ceremony there. It's been under renovation for two years. As if it wasn't beautiful before, it's now breathtaking.
We finished up at the falls, just as the sun was burning through the fog and starting to heat up the day. We had so many beautiful locations and the results speak for themselves. Congratulations Andrea and Ross!
