Shalista Photography is located in a quaint, historic building on the corner of 8th Street and Weber Ave in the Stockman’s Building. There is a studio with historic details such as the original hardwood floors as well as a boutique area where you can view all of the wonderful photo products and wall display options that we have to offer. Snacks and beverages will also be on hand should anyone get cranky mid-session (that includes you Mom and Dad). Downtown Sioux Falls with all of it’s stairways and porches and brick lined alleyways are also perfect spots for additional outdoor shots that will be a part of your studio session.

Sessions are booked TUESDAY to FRIDAY from 9 am to 5 pm. Evening and weekend appointments are also available on a limited basis. Weekends are mainly reserved for weddings and family. We are closed on Sunday and Monday.

The Session Fee, which is due at the time of booking and payable via MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express, covers the photographer’s time and talent to photograph up to five people. Additional subjects are $10 each. Session Fees are non-refundable. Prints are purchased separately.
After your session, we will schedule a 2nd appointment to come back to the studio and view your images. Our viewing appointments last approximately 2 hours and you make your image selections and place your order at this time. We will walk you through each of your images and help you select and design the images for you. We are able to view them at actual size on the wall, in variations such as black and white and sepia, and we can also layout wall galleries and storyboards for you. Additionally, we have a live framing software that helps you see exactly what your finished product will look like.
We request all decision makers be present at this appointment and bring with you a list of things you need and wall measurements! If you need help, let us know, we are happy to do an in-home consultation, take photos, and even show you on the screen what images will look like in your home!
We do not provide paper proofs. Additional viewing appointments are $50 per appointment. Online galleries are available with a $500 in-studio order.

Individual prints start at $25.
High Resolution Image discs are also available, starting at $750.
